In Advanced Music Technology, students learn to compose and then produce their own music using sequencing software. This class focuses on writing songs with electronic instruments and MIDI controllers. Students learn to mix down a song and produce a final product that sounds like it is played with real instruments. Units on copyright, music industry, careers, chord theory, melody writing, lyrics, and audio effects are covered. All student projects utilize multi-media.
